Indira Gandhi National Open University

IGNOU admission Online will be opened for online admissions for the July 2025 session starting from 1 July 2025 onwards and the last date is 15 September 2025.

IGOUN PG Admission 2025-26
Ignou PG Admission 2025 are taken under two intakes in January session and July session, Students can apply for a variety of PG programs such as MA, MSc, MBA, MCom, MCA, and various PG certificate courses.
These programs typically span two years, with a maximum completion time of four years. To qualify for admission, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

IGNOU PhD Admission 2026
IGNOU PhD admissions for the 2025 academic session are expected to begin from July 2025 onwards, for students who have completed their Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant field.
The final date to submit the application form is expected to fall between September-October 2025. The PhD program at IGNOU is available in a variety of disciplines, including Anthropology, Mathematics, Education, Management, Journalism and Mass Communication, Tourism, and more.
To be eligible for the PhD program, candidates must pass an entrance test, which will be held in January 2026. After qualifying, applicants are required to complete the admission process by submitting necessary documents and paying the prescribed fee. The entrance exam results are expected to be released in May 2026.
